Samsung Galaxy gear is an attractive,entry into the suddenly white-hot smartphone and wearable technology market, but it only represents a fresh beginning in the never-ending quest to marry consumer interests with wearable technology.In future we all have technology and digital information very close.The tech products like Google glasses and Galaxy gear will promise this to happen in future.

Samsung finally revealed its much-anticipated smartwatch at IFA 2013.Finally samsung releases the Galaxy gear by samsung India CEO JK shin. brandished the new smart watch during on unpacked event on September 4.  
This newest element is coming from the makers of Galaxy note 3 and  this smart watch allows the user to take videos,photos and you can make calls with it and also you can answer to calls.

Galaxy Gear will run the latest Android 4.3 version.And it comes with full of popular apps like Evernote and Path and Runkeeper.It comes with 5 different colors like Rose Gold,Jet Black,Wild Orange,Mocha Grey,Oatmeal Beige.It contains only one button to start the device at it's right side.

It is a wearable digital watch in the form of "Wrist watch ".By this amazing Digital smart watch you can able to make and receives calls,Electronic mails and internet facility another key feature of this device.  It acts as a secondary device to your smart phone. It won't actually be able to call on its own.  It will connect to your tablet or PC by using Bluetooth or NFC technology.

 GPS is one feature we're very much expecting to see in the onslaught of smart watches.As per the specifications The Gear  is opting for a 2.5 inch square  OLED display.We also hear that the Gear could feature a Exynos 4212 SoC along with 1GB of RAM.

whispered about.

  • Young-hee also reinforced that the Gear will be very much a paired device for our smartphones.

Bold words, but we don't doubt that Samsung will have a big impact on the smartwatch market. And unless Apple has some super-secretiWatch unvelling planned to release in next few days.Which it almost certainly does not.

Samsung has been rumored to be working on a flexible-screen device for many of months,but it is not true i thik.
but if the Galaxy Gear will arrive before 2014, it won’t be packing one of these bendy marvels.The vice president of Samsung's company confirmed the Gear wouldn’t boast such a feature, but added that one of its successors may be.


There’s no official word on the Galaxy Gear’s specifications, but there are a few rumors about the specifications.Some of leaked set of rumors are arrived like follows.Some of leaked specifications are:


  • Gear may have a 1.67-inch display with a 300X300 pixel resolution,
  • A 1.5GHz dual-core processor,
  • 2-megapixel camera,
  • 1GB of RAM.
  • Both Bluetooth and NFC were also included. 
  • The screenshots leaked in February had a 500 x 500 pixel resolution
  • There’s a chance the screen may turn out to be sharper than indicated here.



Comparison With Sony:

the sixth-generation iPod Nano has a 1.54-inch screen and a 240 x 240 pixel resolution, while the new Sony SmartWatch 2 has a 220 x 176 pixel, 1.6-inch display.


SamMobile’s report isn’t the only one we have to go. An anonymous sourced cited by GigaOm recently chimed in that the Gear will have a 2.5-inch OLED screen with a 320 x 320 pixel resolution, and will be powered by Samsung’s dual-core Exynos chip.



An accelerometer could activate the screen when you move your wrist up to your face, and many other sensors could allow it to compete with fitness trackers like the Nike FuelBand, as well as integrate with Samsung’s own S Health app.





pair of screenshots said to be from the Gear’s accompanying smartphone app have been leaked, showing the watch should connect to your phone using NFC and Bluetooth, and that once it’s there various apps will be run on it. The Gear Manager screen shows a Samsung Apps icon with a watch-like clock face, suggesting it will have its own app store.


The Gear soon will reach the world wide stores.
